Forged to Table Hawaii is a live fire cooking experience in Kailua Kona, Big Island. Guided by fire, we combine both our crafts and passion in an unique outdoor cooking experience with the Pacific Ocean view.

 

Fusing both Brazilian and Hawaiian cultures, we create hand forged tools, and rustic open-fire meals influenced by gauchos from South of Brazil and Argentina. The menus are inspired by local tropical ingredients from the island.

 

Forged by Neil, cooked by Flora, and gather by Danny our mission is to gather people around the fire and reconnect them with their human essence ... through handcraft and food.

Flora Kamimura

Gaúcha, born and raised in south Brazil, culinary has always been Flora's passion. 


Cooking professionally over 14 years in Brazil, Flora has co-owned two restaurants and had a YouTube cooking channel.


Flora designs and executes the menus on this project. Inspired by local cuisine and mixing her Brazilian roots, she creates unique flavors that highlight the gaucho style cooking primarily over open fire

Neil Kamimura

Neil was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. He grew up in a family of tradesmen. An electrician by trade himself, he stayed busy with other hobbies.  


However, it wasn't until late 2016, he started blacksmithing ... bladesmithing to be more accurate. Following in his great-grandfather's footsteps, his new path has been made. 


He has now decided to combine his love of food and knives with Forged to Table and his wife, Flora.

Danny Bolton

Born and raised in Hawaii, Danny is a family man and a coffee roaster at Kona Coffee and Tea. 


Danny likes to pride himself as a hunter and maker of things, along with his love of food.. 


Danny will head up the location logistics and use his outdoor skills to assist in acquiring fresh protein, as well as provide fresh local produce from the family farm.
